Q1 - EL NIDO AND SURROUNDINGS
El nido
VILLA LIBERTAD - DANAT
Mostly concreted roads. There is a short-cut trail that goes from Villa Libertad all the way to Danat. Exit in Danat is not clearly signalised. If coming from El Nido (North) it’s on your left side within 1km before you arrive to Danat basketball court. Single track, not too technical. Used by MTB riders and some hikers as well.
DANAT - NEW IBAJAY
There is a trail connecting Danat area with New Ibajay on the east side of the island. That route is quite technical. recommended to do in a group as being alone you might find yourself in tight situations.
north LOOP HIGHWAY
The North Loop is an 80km+ loop that the national highway does around the northern part of el Nido. The loop connects with the two highways that go South, each on one side of the island. The West coast highway connects in Pasadena crossing at Lamoro Bridge and East Highway at Dewel crossing with New Ibajay.
THE OFF-ROAD LOOP
At the exit in Bucana, you have the beginning of a long off-road section that does a loop to the Northern part. Leaving Duli Beach behind, turn left on the crossing at site Dagmay to go all the way to Diapila, Cabuli and Ligad. There is a couple of technical sections at this point that could connect you with the east road going down to Teneguiban, otherwise you must drive back to Dagmay and take the intersection here on the opposite direction towards the East.
